Privacy notice

This notice explains how Italiana Resine S.r.l. Società Benefit processes the personal data of people who visit this website and of those who write to us, under articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003. The site is a catalog: it has no shopping cart, online purchases or private areas.

What data we process and why
- Requests from the Contact form: name, email address, phone number (if you give one) and the content of your message. We use them to reply and to give you the information or quotes you ask for. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures or performance of a contract at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR) and, for general enquiries, our legitimate interest in replying (art. 6.1.f).
- Browsing data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, date and time. They are recorded by the systems that deliver the site, to make it work, for security and to prevent abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest in the security and operation of the site (art. 6.1.f).
- Protection from automated submissions: the form uses an anti-spam check that does not use cookies and does not identify or track you.
- Legal obligations: we may keep or disclose data when a law or an authority requires it (art. 6.1.c).
Giving the data in the form is optional, but without a name and an email address we cannot reply. We do not use form data for promotions or newsletters without your specific consent, and we do not profile you or take decisions based on automated processing.
How long we keep it
Request data is kept for as long as needed to reply and to handle any relationship that follows, then deleted or anonymised, unless the law requires keeping it (for example for tax purposes or to defend a right). Browsing data is kept for limited periods, according to the settings of the providers that deliver the site.
Who we share it with
- our staff who answer requests;
- Webround, the platform that hosts the site, acting as a provider that processes data on our behalf (data processor). To deliver the Contact form messages, Webround uses the email service Resend, which therefore receives the message content and contact details;
- Bunny.net, the content delivery network (CDN) that serves the site images and files and the video on the Company page;
- Cloudflare, an edge service that delivers the site and routes its traffic, with security features and aggregated statistics;
- Google (the map on the Contact page and the site fonts), which receives technical data (such as the IP address) when that content loads and processes it as an independent controller under its own notice (policies.google.com/privacy).
We do not sell your data. Some providers may process it outside the European Economic Area (for example in the United States): in that case the transfer relies on a European Commission adequacy decision, such as the Data Privacy Framework, or on standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, receive it in a machine-readable format and object to processing based on legitimate interest; where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting what was done before. To exercise your rights write to marketing@italianaresine.com. If you believe the processing breaks the rules, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
